Hi all. First time, I think, entering a CGC contest.  I submitted my entry and wanted to update it but when I try it says something went wrong. Is that normal or is there another way to update my entry? Should I delete the post and resubmit?

@smadoc @edhernandez Looks like you can just put an image in the part where you tell about your entry. Just put that it wasn’t working to update your image, so you just put it in that part.

Newbie here!

How do I upload an updated version of my entry?  I’ve gotten as far as the “Edit your entry” button and being able to edit the description, but I can’t figure out how to actually upload a new image.

@christsdude I figured it out after I read the reply by @cgcookiedough , pretty easy and a DUH moment on my part lol..Simply drag and drop your updated image into the text area of your description. May also help to put some text in explaining that it is an update, though I guess it’ll be obvious. 🙂

Hey everyone! Phew those are some awesome pumpkins entered into the contest! I’ve given the nod to the judges to do their thing and have their results to me by early/mid next week. Appreciate the patience as they go through all of these entries and make the hard decisions on a top three. 

If your pumpkin placed, you will be notified via the email address attached to your CGC account. Once I have acceptance from notified winners, I will publish the results on the site within the contest. 

The random community awards will also go out early/middle of next week.  Apologies for any UX trouble updating. It sounds like it was worked out, but I do see the point that could use some improvements for the next contest.

You should feel really good, and accomplished you were able to come up with an idea and execute on it in a relatively brief amount of time. Give everyone a virtual high-five. I will be in touch next week, and of course if you have questions drop me an email at wes@cgcookie.com, hit up support or ask here.
