@arev Oh no – can you not open the file at all? Or is it tricky getting your images pasted into the provided boxes?

@theluthier well I still can open the file and render but as soon as the render is done it turn into a blank pure white image.

@yukinoh1989 I tested your render scene and it’s working just fine for me.  That’s completely bizarre.

Hello – I’m not sure if this is the right place for this question.  I am trying to do the course – shading the “Sci-Fi Helmet” – I never made one so am not sure where to find the helmet.  Can anyone point me to where I could get one for the exercise?  Thank you 🙂

@matthew1917 This is the right place to ask. If you click on the cloud + down-arrow button to the right of the lesson title, it will reveal the source file download that contains the helmet model:

@arev Could you paste your second image and simply scale + crop to fit over the box that’s giving you trouble?

@yukinoh1989 Sorry to hear about your troubles with the white screen..I’ve never experienced that problem before. And it’s odd that silent can’t reproduce the error with your file..

Perhaps try opening a fresh new Blender file and appending all the objects from your white-render scene into the fresh scene. That may eliminate a rogue parameter that’s causing the white render.

@arev What do you mean “selvet”?

@arev You shouldn’t have to select the box. Just select your image and scale it down, crop if needed to fit over the box template. Leave them as separate layers.
