The Steam platform or the Steam VR/Open VR system? Steam has Oculus Rift games from what I know, and Open VR is supposed to work with all VR platforms although I’ve only ever used it for the Vive.

Ok, so it is possible to use the steam plug in (asset), but with the oculus rift hardware or any other for test?

It should work in the same way, except for the Vive specific controls. Oculus also has their own example scenes/projects you could use as well.
