default shape size

Hello 

So i am brand new to this and i am having a bit of confusion because I think my default shape size is substantially smaller than your default shape size.. i’m saying this because when my brush size is set to 150, it takes up almost my entire sphere as to where yours only seems to take up about a quarter of it or so.. 

Is there a way i can set my default shape size to something similar to yours? 

also, when you set your subdivision surface modifier to 7, mine maxed out to 6. do you know why that may be?

What do you mean by “shape size”? I know Brush size and detail size…

I’m not sure why the subdivision surface modifier would limit you to 6 instead of 7. I don’t know if I’ve ever run into that myself.
