Curved monitors

Well, I’m looking at upgrading my monitor setup. I have a mount that can handle 2 27″ monitors. I was recommended a Samsung CHG70 but am wondering about the curve (it’s a “gaming” monitor).

While I’m not doing hardcore gaming, once in a while I’ll place something off of my Pile of Shame (aka Steam Library).

I was originally going to go with two Dell UltraSharp 27″s as I wanted a good 2560 *1080 resolution.

Does anyone have a recommendation or would just one 34″ ultrawide be a better option and is freesync a necessity for anything other than gaming?

I haven’t used one but from other people experience I see that it depends from person to person. Some like curved monitors, some hate. Usually the ones who like are gamers and the ones who doesnt like so much do some kind of modeling, drawing or photo editing. So advice would be to try if you have a chance.

@svetimas Thanks, brother, if there’s no real benefit I think I’ll stick with straight-on monitors.
