Cryptomattes and Grease Pencil?

Do cryptomattes work with Grease Pencil objects? Or is that why you mention splitting the scene up with different view layers in this lesson?

I tried with no success, but figured I’d ask in case I’m missing a step that might be different than regular mesh objects?

I see the manual saying volume objects are not supported, but it doesn’t really mention grease pencil objects.

I don’t think I’ve attempted using Cryptomattes with Grease Pencil, sorry! I’m going to work with the assumption “no…. for now” haha just like “Do Grease Pencil objects CAST shadows?” which they still do not.
