It also allows you to start as many or as few instances as you please, while automatically handling your spot instances, so you don’t have to worry about interruptions. Overall you only pay for the cost of the server instance(s) and avoid any added service costs. No credits, no putting money in ahead of time, and it has 2.8 support.
Of course Barista is sold with a one-time payment to help with development, but the costs you pay for rendering is all based on Amazon AWS prices, so you make up for that cost really quick.
