Could you give feedback on the lighting?

Hey guys and girls,

I am tinkering on this project and I am wondering if you have any feedback. I want to create warm plesant theme (not creepy) but yet abandoned. I tried different setups already and couldn’t get the light as I wanted. I wanted to make this shadows of trees on the table to bring more interest to the scene. Thanks to @jlampel and his awesome extra light addon I used the direct sun light and I think it looks much better now. 

Then I tried to add some environment light wihtout hard shadows and then tweaked the scene a bit in compositor and photoshop.

Right now I only have 1 sun lamp and 1 environment (HDRI) light.

I am planning on adding more stuff like maybe spiderweb or something.

DO you have any feedback on how to improve the ligting and overal look of the scene or do you think it is already good as it is. I looked at this scene for a couple of days now and cant noticed any mistakes :S I need some fresh eyes 😉

Hey, nice render! I really like the textured lighting. I think one thing that stands out is how much the brightness of the background distracts from the main focal point of the paddles and ball. Try using whatever object / alpha you’re using to cast the tree shadows to put the back of the table and the side of the net into shadow to create a natural vignette around the paddles and blend the table into the background rather than have such a sharp transition.
