This is in regards to the course material and submitting.  Does it matter if I convert these to my system’s sRGB color profile, or should I retain the profile that is embedded in your PSD?  I am using Gimp and I am asked this all the time.  I usually convert everything.  Not sure what this does in the long run but in the context of this course and trying to match things, should I just not convert in this situation?

I say convert yeah. When I get asked I convert as well. It’s just the color profile, how things will be displayed in your monitor, how colors will look and clipping values and stuff. You can always change to any look or color profile you want.

Thank you Omar.  I shall continue to convert!  I appreciate your response.
