I’ve been trying to get cloth springs to work for quite some time now. I’m able to get cloth to collide with an object when I place a subdivided plane above something and allow it to drop, and drape over the object…no problem. However, I can’t get springs to work for the life of me. I downloaded the example files for this course, and opened the cloth sewing example, deleted the baked cache, and baked it again…and it doesn’t work. The cloth sews itself together into a ball of cloth with no collision on the body at all. I haven’t changed any settings at all…so is this an issue of using a 2.8x build, vs the 2.7x build this was created in? If so, what needs to be changed so that I can get this to work?

Hey @projectcambrian , I checked out that file and you’re right – something weird happens when you use it in 2.8. If you start a fresh file in 2.8 though and try sewing springs it should work as described. Here’s the basic setup I tested that you could try:

If this doesn’t work for you, it looks like you found a bug!
