Here’s my finished render. If you look in my gallery you can see the gourds I used for references for Yoda, Mando’s helment and the stormtrooper heads. I know it’s not the traditional pumpkin idea but, well, I wanted to play a bit. Hope you all like.

@wesburke the submission date leads to a bit of confusion ….to quote from Wikipedia:

As the dividing point between one day and another, midnight defies easy classification as either part of the preceding day or of the following day. Though there is no global unanimity on the issue, most often midnight is considered the start of a new day and is associated with the hour 00:00. Even in locales with this technical resolution, however, vernacular references to midnight as the end of any given day may be common.

Yes, that’s a nuisance. I had to rush my grumpy pumpkin cause of this just to make sure I won’t miss the deadline.

I know you’ve asked the question and although it’s easy enough to find the CDT time, midnight is ambiguous 🙂

Yeah. I am 4 hours ahead of CDT but what is the midnight? Is it 11th or 12th?
It is so mysterious I am kinda lost in there.

But anyway — I posted my pumpkin at 7.58 local time zone — just 2 minutes before the end of the world! What an adrenaline rush.

Hey all, thanks to everyone who participated – the gallery is looking positively orange!

Our judges (Kent Trammell, Jonathan Lampel, Wes Burke and Wayne Dixon) will be picking their favorite pumpkins from the patch.
