This a quick plane motion tracking I’ve just made: File.
PS: @kenanproffitt I’ve watched your excellent tutorial “The Secrets of Creating Realistic Trees in Blender” once again just a few days ago. It’s in my opinion the best Blender tree creation tutorial on the web👍! I would just try “Follow Active Quads” with “Length” as “Edge Length Mode” in order to make the bark texture follow the trunc’s contour lines.
