Can you buy assets and use them with a render farm service?

Can I get in trouble if I buy a 3D graphics asset (such as a 3D model or a texture) and use it with a render farm service such as RenderStreet? I am concerned that it could be considered as redistributing the asset.

You bought the right to use a product (probably not professionally) and is concerned about a third party having brief access to it? Its like storing movies to the cloud. I doubt render farms go to the effort of skimming assets for resale it would undermine their credibility. Even if they did, the legal onus would be on the group infringing on data without purchasing it

If you purchased the asset it’s very likely it came with a license document that outlines your legal usage. If you’re worried you should contact the seller and ask this question.

Perhaps if you were to use it on a render farm where others can access the files, but any professional render farm service should be totally secure. I’ve never thought twice about it.
