      Looks like blender render has been deprecated, so if i wanted to paint, wich would be the best way to view the information as you do.

        Indeed Blender Render is no longer an option in 2.8. Pour one out for the old friend 😢

        For learning how to texture paint with 2.8, I highly recommend the treasure chest course – specifically this lesson.
