      Hey guys,

right now I’m polishing a sculpt and I’m having trouble with my blender 2.9 performance. I’ve already put so many vertices in with dyntopo that blender runs very slow. Has anybody a tip on how to get things running smooth again?

I thought about starting the retopology on those areas I’ve already polished and delete those parts afterwards to get rid of those many vertices. Is that a good approach?

You can try to reduce the vertice count with the “Decimate” modifier.

That´s what I do when my sculpt starts to lag

Or you could maybe use the Simplify Brush to lower the detail size in specific areas.

            Hey,

thanks for your help. Sadly it was already too late 🙁 I have to start over with the polishing.
