Blender Hair System Errors

Hi there, I’m trying to understand why i keep getting this error in my longer hairs, as you can see in the image attached the hair starts has a curve and then makes an over 90 degree turn and becomes straight, this seems to happen alot, and I’ve been unable to figure out the cause. If anyone else has had a similar problem and worked out the cause id love to know.

Well I’ve experimented more since then and this mostly seems to happen with braids and spirals. Still have no idea what causes it or how to fix it.

Interesting, I really don’t know what could be causing that.

@jlampel perhaps I should make a bug report, I have had this problem everytime i try and use a hair system like this.
