Ok… I am finally having to get a Graphic tablet because of the need to use Zoom in training. But if I have to get one I would like to use it for blender too. Those who are using zoom say make sure it is a USB plug in. Anyone have any suggestions for one that will work with Zoom and Blender and USB? or ?

      Thanks

anyone see a good video that shows how to setup a tablet to use in blender 2.81? When you do, does it disengage mouse input or ?

it does not take over (disengage) the mouse… but it will make it so that you use one or the other at a time…

most of the time it is plug it in and use it…

if it needs drivers installed and or updated it will let you know…

          hope this helps

thanks…watching vids and no one is mentioning if they use the pen in place of mouse for selections or if you use pen, mouse, quick-keys etc….

I have a wacom cintiq and as I work I use pen in one hand other hand on keyboard (short cut keys and such)…

mouse is at hand and swapped for somethings that it accomplishes better than pen…

I have a 3 monitor setup and the pen is mapped to the cintiq, so that anything on other 2 monitors I use mouse for…

there is however a way to switch from monitor to monitor and use the pen for everything…

part of it is decided by what you find comfortable as your way to work…

              hope this helps

                txs

did you just connect your Wacom to one of the video card ports? so you see you have three monitors? that would work great for zoom for whiteboard…

getting a xp-pen 15 pro so looking forward to learning…

                txs again

cintiq is connected to a vid card port and an USB port so establishes two way communication…

yes 3 monitors, the screen on the laptop, a 55″ samsung hdtv and the cintiq…
