Your toy truck looks good, but I think there’s something missing from your shader.  It’s nearly there but you’re missing one thing.  Your day scene is nice, maybe the sky could be more blue to influence the shadows more.  The night scene is nice, too.  Nice orange lights and the bluer moonlight are a good combo.

Good work on both assignments @gbritton. I’m not 100% sure what silent senses as missing. perhaps the glossiness is a touch too strong on the plastic of the toy truck? Overall it looks pretty good to me though. Certainly earned an A from me 👍

Thank you both for the feedback.  Yes, I agree maybe the glossiness on the truck is a bit strong, but my thought was a “brand-new” truck, so the plastic wouldn’t be dulled too much yet from oil on hands, dust, etc.  On the daytime bedroom, I now see my world could have some more blue added.  I understand your points, appreciate the solid feedback and will keep these in mind the next project.

Having way too much trouble with 2.8, so no homework from me this week, hopefully I’ll do better next week.

@gbritton Ahh rats, sorry to hear that. Was it too slow to work with? Or Eevee too different from Cycles?

@gbritton No worries just keep up the good work, anyway I had similiar feelings this week. 

My suggestion would be to post anything you have till Sunday, because you worked with it so you deserve. All of us know that the homeworks sometimes are not easy and can be real challenge, so just bravely next time
