Badges not working

Just wondering if badges are working. I have completed Fundamentals of Lighting but did not get the badge. Same with Modeling with Modifiers and Fundamentals of Shading.

Not a big deal, but would help me track my progress.

I noticed the same bug. It happens whenever that last thing I finish in a course is a graded exercise. If I pass an exercise then go back and mark one of the course videos unwatched, then re-watch it, it refreshes the progress and the “course completed” message pops up. After that the badge shows in my account.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your tips.  I have been wondering why I got some of the badges and sometimes don’t!  There is a bug in the “course completed” procedure.  This works for me too.

Man, there are all kinds of bugs….especially if you are using Mozilla.

CG Cookie recently released a whole new website built from the ground up. As a result , there are some issues floating about. Bear with them as i’m sure they are working hard to get them fixed asap 🙂

Thanks Wes, I know all too well the whack-a-mole game of web development. You fix one bug and find two more :). CGC’s getting better all the time, cheers to the team for all the hard work.

In the future, what the best way to report bugs? Is support@cgcookie the right channel for that?
