Just picked one that was still unaccounted for…sounds like fun though!

That’s where the driver stashes a bottle of port. 🍷

Silly me, thinking it was the opposite side of starboard (which is where the steering wheel is on a ship (dutch:  ‘stuurboord’), which is in sailing direction to the right. The other side would be where the ship would  usually dock at the quay and is therefor called port…

Thanks for signing up @spikeyxxx! Similar to what I told Adrian, I’ve created 2 files for you:

            • DOG-434E_model/MASTER_parts/WIP/SPIKEYXXX_dog-434e_interior_port-console_01.blend
            • DOG-434E_model/MASTER_parts/SPIKEYXXX_dog-434e_interior_port-console_MASTER.blend

The first one is meant to be where you start your work-in-progress, saving iteratively as needed. After each modeling session, simply save over the mastered version to the MASTER_parts folder (second file listed above).

Feel free to link in other mastered parts if you need. Let me know if anything isn’t clear!

              A first attempt:

Still a bit of a mess:

Not too sure about the exact shape, got an intersection with the cab, don’t know what to do about that yet…

Maybe it’s more something like this:

@theluthier could you please make the windows of the cab invisible? I can’t edit my mesh through the glass.

(I know I could Append your cab and remove the windows, but I think that everybody will have this problem…)

@spikeyxxx Sure thing – I often hid them myself when working. Just updated my master file. Glass should be hidden now.

PS: Nice catch on the bottm edge contour. I hadn’t noticed the curvature till now.

Great, thanks Kent! Now I can line up my verts with the frame;)
