Applying Set Inverse, Clear Inverse and Set Inverse again to fix the position of the right hand

Hi @jlampel, between 3:15 – 3:25, you fixed the position of the right hand by applying  Set Inverse, Clear Inverse, and Set Inverse again and the right hand magically snapped into the right position. I would like to know the rationale behind this because I prefer to do such operations deterministically as opposed to trial and error. Could you please elaborate on what is happening when I do those steps.

Sure, so we had clicked set inverse at some point in the other file but not this one, so that’s why there was a difference. An inverse was automatically applied when the constraint was created, and that old data was still hanging around in this file. I don’t think the first Set Inverse click was necessary – just clear the old data, set it again, and you should be good to go!
