      Instead of extruding edges I just traced all the way around by extruding through vertexes. Is there anything wrong with doing it that way? I felt like it was a lot faster then having to make loop cuts for small half circles.

        HI Ryan,

        No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with how you did that.

        There are in modeling often several ways to achieve the same or similar results and you can just use whatever is easier for you.

          I agree with Martin. There’s tons of way to achieve the same result, it’s all about how you feel most comfortable. We also tend to accumulate bad habits along the way, it’s hard to get rid of those, that also happens. But overall, all roads lead to Rome eventually.
