I’m looking for something portable that I can use to take my modelling practice/work on the road. I’ve seen the Wacom hybrid and Microsoft Surface and wonder if those will do what I need.  Basically, a digital display that allows you to draw directly on the surface and has, at the very least, the capability to read and write to a USB drive.

      Can anyone make any suggestions?

I’ve been using a Surface Pro 3 for a while now, and I still really enjoy it even though it’s showing it’s age. I’d recommend trying out the newer Surface Pro or the 15″ Surface Book (much more powerful for 3D but a bit less comfortable for drawing) at a Microsoft store before you dive in, but so far so good.
