When i leave annotation mode and try to return to it after some sculpting, any new annotations make my previous ones dissapear. And what’s even worse, it cannot be undone.
I tried with both single and separated annotations layers.

So far I’ve been dealing with it by making different layers for every time I make a new set of annotations, but it’s starting to get a bit frustrating, specially because I just lost very important lines D:

      Any help appreciated.

        Hi @vickyrama ,

any new annotations make my previous ones dissapear.

        Well, that shouldn’t happen.

Did you perhaps create a new Datablock each time, instead of a new Layer:

        ?

Nope. It is all in the same block.
Also happened in different files and I’ve restarted this a couple of times and I always seem to get the same issue :/
I thought it was a setting hidden somewhere but the fact that it can’t be undone is what is driving me crazy.

Have you tried it in a totally new blend file? See if the problem persists. Sometimes is just a bug local to the file you are using. If that’s not it, then maybe try a different Blender version and test there and see if things persist, because it shouldn’t. After that is going all the way to the vatican to rid your Blender of the bad spirits.

Also try Load Factory Settings (maybe it’s an Addon, misbehaving)…

…and make sure your drivers are up-to-date.

I did restart this project twice. And the first two times were in 3.4, where I first got this issue. It persists over 3.5
So it might be indeed an addon. I’ll try Factory settings.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions o/
