animation_vonnbots278 script not working

I didn’t see anyone else asking this so I guess I’m the only one having this problem.  The script that provides the Vonnbots UI isn’t working.  This script worked perfectly in the bootcamp files but not here.  I haven’t changed the Blender version or made OS changes (MacOS) since then.  I’ve shared a screenshot showing the script after linking the Stomp character. Clicking Run Script does nothing.  I have “Autorun Python Scripts” enabled in user prefs (see screenshot).  

I also loaded the Rivet character in a new file with the same result.

I’m kind of stuck so any help would be appreciated.
