Alt-S on middle line not working around battery panel.

I seem to be running into a problem where every time I try to create the split line in the middle of the GameBoy and use Alt-S to create the gap, it wont work specifically around the battery. Here is a G-Drive Link to the Document. Any help would be appreciated!

I download your file, but Alt + S is working fine for me. Are you beveling first with Control + B to create the three edges needed? You can also try and do a screen recording to see the problem in action.

Hi I managed to fix this by simply remodelling the side panelling from scratch. Not too sure what went wrong there but glad Its fixed as it was really stressing me out!
