After you mirrored the left side armature and selected “Flip Names”, Why didn’t you address the unavoidable issue of the bone rolls being off when using the armature-mirror-global x axis approach? I have recently discovered that using the Symmetrize tool is more intuitive than the Armature mirror tool. Am I wrong on this one?

No you’re not wrong, David. The symmetrize tool is great. It’s just a newer tool and I suppose I’m used to the mirror tool. Thanks for sharing your tip!
