Brilliant, that pointed me in the right direction. I had to take a few days off and when I came back to it, I seem to have forgotten a hot key that I believe you used in texture paint mode that allowed you to mask a portion of the selected object by selecting faces… I thought it was alt left click but that doesn’t seem to do it. am I crazy or do you know what I’m talking about?
