Yes, frustrating that things have changed in Blender and I understand not wanting to repeat this tutorial. I’ve found a very helpful tutorial on YouTube by Darrin Lile called ‘Blender Character Texture Painting 1 of 6’. He uses Blender 2.72 which is more similar to my current version of Blender.
