Hi, lloydfarrell. I’m a beginner so I’m not sure but I think this is the normal behavior of this action and it will always recognize every seam as similar, it also happens in the video. Since the only other seam is in the middle of the monkey’s head you won’t see any difference when it’s mirrored. On the other hand, if you select a non seamed line it will recognize every line in the monkey but the seamed lines will remain unselected. Hope it helps.
