Hi Patrick,
You can certainly use a Color Balance Node, but your Settings are too extreme at the moment (don’t forget to plug it in the Viewer Node as well as the Composite!).
Render one Frame, to see if it’s okay. You can also get an idea about the total Render Time this way.
Animations always take a long time to Render…the less Frames, the shorter the total Render time.
