well found out why things were buggin me even after correcting the mistakes on material textures.. the crevices didn’t have any depth. they were all lit up and not darkened.
corrected that, and also desaturated the colors on metal. and finally added lattice to give bit more volume to the chest, which i should have done on week 1, but it slipped from my mind.
