@theluthier Thanks for the feedback Kent. I know what you mean, there could definitely be a lot more refinement in the anatomy of this one, particularly in the detail around the joints. I kinda just ran out of time and found myself saying “It’s good enough for now, move on, there’s so much more to do!” lol. I’m keen to keep going down the path of character sculpting and continue refining my anatomy. I really like doing realistic, high detail stuff and aspire to make sculpts like I sometimes see on artstation and have to think twice whether its real or not XD.
The class has been a great experience for me. I was so scared of sculpting not too long ago and I’m so excited to find that it’s something that I’m not too bad at. I’ve got a long way to go still though and will keep challenging myself. I feel that if I just keep chipping away there’s nothing I can’t do in this space.
However, for now I need a short break. Sculpting so much over the last two weeks has tired me out. Also I want to go through some of the other courses and learn different things about blender, other modelling techniques as well as rendering and lighting. I’m still very much a n00b at everything.
Thanks for running the class, it’s been fun and I appreciate it. Look forward to next time.
