Arrrgh. And still I have the same problem.

1) the speakers are not below –in fact in this attempt I even left them slightly above the console to make sure!
2) on none of the 4 vertices selected are there double vertices that need to be merged. They fill fine… but when I try to selct all the edges to do the 2nd face fill, I can’t select all the edges in one go.. and when I fill I get the exact same outcome as before.
Normally I’d have given up by now entirely but now sheer aggravation propels me forward. Any ideas?
