I think the Lessons are in the wrong order, start with the last one of Chapter 1 and work your way up to the first Lesson of Chapter 1.
This is however a Unity Course, from the time when CGCookie had Unity, Blender, (Clay) Sculpting and (digital) Drawing sections. Blender is merely used to Render out Image Sequences. It also uses a pretty old Version of Unity.
