Thank you so much @MartinBergwerf and @Omar Domenech! Between your guiding me to the courses and videos you’ve recommended, as well as the course I was directed to within those courses, I was able to reduce the topology to something I can now work with when skinning models within blender in a WYSIWYG way. It was tedious but I just put on some music and didn’t stop until it was done. It taught me a lot about Dissolve and Limited Dissolve when it comes to Vertices, Edges and Faces. I also picked up using the alt key, shift key, and L hotkeys to select things that are linked to save time. The H and Alt + H hot keys to hide and unhide were also time savers! Just wow! Check out the before and after you both helped me achieve. Now THIS I can UV unwrap and work with.
