    Hey David,

    Did you download from Blender.org?

    Is this the first time you install Blender? If so, how do you know if something is wrong? Maybe you just got freaked out because it downloaded from a Mirror and expect a corrupt Blender…

    What exactly is different from what you expect? (Just give a few examples…saying that: “basic shortcuts and numb pad commands and hotkeys don’t work properly” is really too vague.)
