I’m sorry, I cannot see anything that you would be doing wrong.
Could you please provide a link to your .blend flie? (Any cloud service like Google Drive, or Dropbox, or whatever will do)
It’s probably just a small thing, but with baking; if you don’t get everything right, it fails;)
