    Not sure about your question.

    But I try as much as possible to answer, 

    • he first set frame 100 (by click the frame 100 with right-click mouse)
    • then, just pull the Y manipulator on the sphere to the right, 
    • press ‘i’ and select location
    • The sphere animation key is now at frame 100

    correct me if I wrong
