When i plug a shader in mix over another shader allready plugged it it does not move it down to the next input of the mix shader like the video does it just disconnects it

      so when the inputs overlap the first input just gets disconnected and i have to plug it into the bottom spot, in the video the overlapped shadder jumps down a slot on the mix shader. is there a setting i have to enable?

        Right @puddles ,

        That behavior has been changed; now, if you hold  ALT the automatic switching works, otherwise it just disconnects.

        (My opinion is, that the earlier behavior was better…I don’t see any advantage with this new behavior, but….?)

          Yeah by default it’s better if it swaps like before, the move was if you wanted a disconnect then you hold ALT. That behavior should be in reverse.
