You can switch during an animation (I think I do that in the Rivet box lift – can’t recall off the top of my head)
But it’s usually easier to stay in the 1 mode for the entire shot. Well that is generally the case, but there’s always times when switching is the easiest thing to do. And you probably won’t switch the legs very much at all (just the arms mostly)
