@ovingt1 for reference I looked up some specs of nvidia video cards, the more cuda cores the better (faster render times and smoother performance).
My video card (650M),which barely runs everything, has 384 cores:

The one you choose, GTX 1050, has 640 cores (so less than double of mine):

The GTX 1070 has 1920 cores, so that’s a massive improvement:

The 1070 and 1080 used to be super expensive, but are becoming a lot cheaper these days because of all the new video cards coming out.
