I’m the same with sculpting now. I was afraid of sculpting when I first started blender since I’m not a trained 3D artist. And, it’s still incredibly difficult if you don’t set up your base mesh correctly, apparently. But, Kent introduces you to all the different brushes and masking tools one at a time so you’re not intimidated, you sculpt on a base mesh and it actually starts looking like a human torso, finger creases start looking like actual fingers, cheeks start looking like actual real cheeks, and now I’m practicing on my own, see what I can do myself from technical reference sheets.
