Thanks so much for looking at this. Wow, again you got sharp eyes. I was meticulous at the beginning on making the facial loops and I must have fouled it up along the way and didn’t notice. I corrected it to get the loop back just as you showed.
The first pic with the quad that looks distorted is the end of the dog’s mane and it’s twisted due to compensating for when the subd is turned on. It’s not pretty but was made that way on purpose to make a sort of smooth transition where it tapers off back into the fur. I’m short of having techniques in my tool belt and using a hammer for most things. 8^]
I really didn’t know how to close up the openings in the ears and a few other areas. I just had to sort of wing it best I could. Not completely happy with some things.
Does CG Cookie have more in the way of this kind of modeling or do you recommend other course/tutorials on this kind of modeling?
