Yeah, the next video explains a better way of handling what I was trying to do, paint around the corners of the edges and not have the linked objects affected on the other side where there isn’t a metal strap. So your comment is what I needed and the instructor has a technique to address what I was trying to do in the painting. I need to watch the video(s) before I ask as I often find the answer comes later. lol
