Oh! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to imply you said or did anything wrong with this tutorial. I was following along with your course and experimenting with the different brushes, and ran into a similar slowdown issue as you do. Your issue does not appear to be related to mine, as I never saw a multires on your sculpts, and optimize was not clearing up my issue.
As for the shortcuts, I searched the web for the common ones used in this tutorial. Shift + 4 happens to be Polish for me(1-0 number keys select the first 10 brushes). Shift + (1-0) selects brushes 11-20. This could change based on the brushes you currently have, and what order they are in. YMMV.
But yeah, as I was using the shift keys to select Polish, I would hit CTRL instead and inadvertantly add a multirez to my sculpts on top of my already dynotoped mesh.
Thanks for this course, btw. It really throws you out of your comfort zone in a good way.
