I downloaded your file , switched to cycles and it renders fine CPU and GPU. I can see no issue with the file with 2.90 and 2.91.
Make sure whilst rendering you don’t have anything else running, change any settings in Blender or do anything else on your computer. I would usually do my rendering overnight or at the weekend and with any automatic updates turned off to avoid any issues when rendering.
