I have yet to tackle that course, but I understand the feeling of frustration when you struggle to keep up. I think you should just go easy on yourself and try something less complicated. There are courses for just modeling, texturing or animating.. working on a specific aspect at a time is definitely easier. Then you can go back to the treasure chest with much more confidence.
Just enjoy what you’re doing and ask any time you need help. We are all in the same boat 🙂
