So you mean that gradient that goes from the middle with that orange to the edges towards black. You can achieve that with texture painting, you don’t have to do it with procedural shading or anything, if you paint it you’ll have much more control. Some good UV unwrapping, and I think if you want to get those tiny scratches you’ll probably have to go 4K or even 8K.
You have seen the PotHead tutorial I believe? JL made a lot of painting and you can also take advantage of stenciling, set the brush to stencil and you can stamp those little scratches all over. It’s a freaking fun process I’ll tell you that. You can start by setting and laying out a UV unwrapping and post the results here.
