It is rather difficult to say, just from that Screenshot, but my first guess would be, tat it is because some of those vertical Edges (in the ‘bitemarks’) are too close together, making the Bevel ‘overshoot’ in those areas. I’d re-do those bitemarks, if I were you, with less Edges. And let us know if that helps.
